I was in Haiti in September for the beginning of the new school year.
I was able to get a lot of things accomplish in 3 weeks. I was able to build 20 school benches, with help from friends. The school bathrooms were complete while I was there. This is a big deal in Haiti. I also managed many administrative duties of the school.
I also went to Soukarpet a village of 5 houses and a population of 35. This was the worst conditions I've ever seen in 20 trips to Haiti (see the pic). None of the children attend school, they only have the clothes they're wearing, the houses have no roofs so the dirt floors become mud when it rains. Just terrible conditions. We are beginning to send food and other items to them. 1 John 3:17-18. We need donations to continue helping this village.
